It was never our plan to be in Turkey in August, but after five and a half months in the Caucasus, the Azerbaijan land border remained closed and our time was up, we had to leave.
That only left one option…Turkey.
We told ourselves it’ll be okay, pleasant & a bit of heat would be welcomed plus we have a fan, but boy, there’s just no escaping it… let’s keep telling ourselves it’s all part of the adventure!
Sadly Azerbaijan wasn’t to be this time.
