Re-tour de France| Lac d’Hourtin: Time to move on
Another fantastic day in the lovely area. We knew time was slipping away so we made the most of our opportunities. As a special treat we met up with friends in Lacanau and had some lovely ‘down time’ with them.
Our nature experience, the Lagoon of Contaut, was fantastic. Such a lovely walk and so much to see. It was actually quite nice that it was somewhat cloudy. It would have been too warm had we had the temperatures from days gone by.
I hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did being here. It is time to farewell the coast and drive further south, head to the Pyrenees.
