We were in the south west part of Germany and were about to get up to a viewpoint on top of a 5000ft or 1500m mountain. We found a place that looked like the filmning location of the movie The Sound of music. The Sound of Music is a 1965 American musical drama film produced and directed by Robert Wise, and starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. We were in Schönau Im Schwarzwald and Aitern which is part of the black forest, and also were the black forest cake originated. Watch this video to see us explore the German and Swiss alps as well as eat some traditional German food and go to a fun swimming pool. In the coming videos we will go to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland. We will also take the train to Bern and then further down to Interlaken.
