Bokor National Park is a high altitude cloud forest located a few kilometres outside Kampot city. It has a lovely micro climate even though it overlooks the gulf of Thailand and is located in a tropical country with hot and humid weather! Bokor has beautiful, lush green forests and remains in dense cloud cover most of the time (like you see in this video). We visited Popokvil waterfall but there was no pathway to the falls due to flooding. We explored some abandoned buildings from the French colonial era. Later we rode back down to the city of Kampot and had some lunch before heading further to Kep! Btw, we saw a lot of Chinese construction everywhere – casinos, hotels, restaurants – it was very unusual that there’s this kind of development in a place that should be focussed on preserving the beauty of nature.
