The weekend of Her Majesty the Queens funeral and her period of laying in state meant a lot more people travelling to/from London. With this in mind and Avanti’s inability to run a reliable train service LSL was drafted in to help with the extra capacity. Using 90002 and a rake of mk3 coaches this set was used for a few return trips a day between Manchester & London.
So as well as this Intercity rake to look out for, you’ve also got a lot of Euston’s other regulars. Avanti Pendolino’s, London North Western 350’s & 319’s, Caledonian Sleeper with class 92’s and London Overground class 710’s.
