If you are coming to Vietnam, especially North Vietnam, you must plan to travel to Tam Coc & Mua Caves. These are the best things to do in Ninh Binh area as a day trip from Hanoi.
I had an amazing time in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh . It is arguably one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam.
First visited ancient Tam Coc by bus,a tour organised by Getyourride tours and travels at 43USD per pax with lavish buffet lunch in a village restaurant. At first we have gone for boat ride but before enjoying the Bamboo boat ride through the scenic mountain passing through 3 caves Hang Ca, Hang Giu and Hang Coi . You can also enjoy a short bycycle ride through the stunning mountains, then moving on to spectacular Mua Caves ride about 500 stairs to 360 degree panoramic view of Tam Coc area of rice fields ( if travelling in yellow rice fields season).
