I have an incredible desire to just keep riding and need to plan how I am going to do it! @Lisa Lancaster Travels

We took 6 weeks rode 18,000 km 10 provinces and 12 states 5 ferries from here to St. John’s Newfoundland – we were closer to London and Germany than home at one point and that was a little daunting – then we came back through the US – went to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the beautiful Badlands and the inspirational Needles Hwy.

There’s videos of the trip on this channel are labelled S1 a 15 Part Series of our coast to Coast tour as this is a start to much more ahead – we camped and combined hotels and did a few days in Quebec City – even rode to Canadian Parliament and then Montreal – PEI was amazing, rode all over Nova Scotia the Cabot trail and South Shores and took the fast cat ferry to bar harbour Maine and onto New Hamshire Vermont and New York State were all really cool to see as well. We changed our route with weather due to Hurricane Earl and Fiona and the storms around these weather events.

I just want to travel everywhere on the bike and do videos, I know my edits are a little rough and raw and they will get better (I promise) Most are done in my hammock or hotel and all are done on the iPhone. I’m getting a little more comfortable talking as we go but it’s not my strongpoint, I much prefer being being the camera than in front of it – always have.
Jonathan really wants me to look at a new ADV but I’m really on the fence, I LOVE my BMW R1200RS and it’s my 5th season with this bike. She has packed me over crappy loose gravel, shitty logging roads with washboard and holes that you would get lost in, over grass tree roots and holes in the dark looking for a place to camp and travelling where street bikes are really not in their element. I do know a lighter ADV with the right tires would be way more suited but it’s the road touring, rain, gusting winds and cool winding pavement that makes me just smile and feel free and in the moment on this bike. The only downfall to the R1200 is the upright kickstand on this bike – it sucks btw BMW and yes my suspension is adjusted for the maximum angle I can get out of it….

I do want to get this channel going and send the bikes to Europe soon to tour from England to France Italy and on and on, absorbing the Landscape and History. So much too see and to explore – so many lovely people and looking forward to a few challenges that come with Motorcycle touring along the way!

Please follow our travel adventures and like & subscribe, it goes along way to helping get the channel going. I welcome any comments and suggestions too!
