Checking out the very decent economy class onboard Turkish Airlines on their Airbus A321 aircraft from Hamburg, Germany through to their home in Istanbul.
Having flown the outbound leg on the A330, I was sceptical as to whether the onboard product aboard their narrowbody aircraft would be as good. in reality, this was better. With the addition of more modern leathers seats, in-seat charging and Wi-Fi life aboard the A321 was great for a traditionally short hauled aircraft.
The airlines excels on the food front, with not only a warm meal provided but a selection of side dishes also – top marks to them just here. Greatest areas to improve would no doubt be friendliness of service both on the ground and in the air.
