First overseas trip since the pandemic of 2020. Was supposed to be at Athens, Greece, but because of the World Cup, we opted to go traveling in South East Asia. As we have been to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh previous years, Da Nang was the next destination.
We stayed in the outstandingly picturesque Sheraton Da Nang Resort. We took a family room and a single room for the five of us.
Didn’t go to the normal places where tourists go when they come here, and opted out of a guided tour as we wanted to go exploring at our own pace. Do choose a tour guide if you can’t converse in Tieng Viet (Vietnamese) as vendors do not really speak much English.
There were many food pictures taken but didn’t uploaded it in the video though and was too busy eating to take landscape pics of them!
All in all, Da Nang and Hoi An are wonderful places to visit, even if you don’t go to the touristy places.
