Two years without travel abroad made this first trip to France particularly special. I wanted to test my new Panasonic S5 as a travel camera, running it without any accessories as we traveled the French countryside. I put together a nice travel film, airing on the vintage side… as I felt the vibe and colors fit that experience. I continue to be incredibly impressed by this camera, the image that you can get with minimal effort is impressive. It won’t replace my BMPCC 6K as my cinema camera, but I think I’ve found my perfect travel camera.
I took travel for granted.
