This time, I boarded the [Sunflower Sapporo] from Tomakomai Port in Hokkaido to Oarai Port in Ibaraki Prefecture. The ship departs Tomakomai Port at 18:45 and arrives at Oarai Port at 14:00 the next day.
The Sunflower Sapporo was newly built in 2017, and the interior was relatively clean. There are five grades of comfort and this time I booked in the Comfort class.

Sunflower celebrated the 50th anniversary of its service and the release of the movie RED with the One Piece collaboration through September 10, 2022. The ship’s crew, including Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat gang, spent 19 hours on board enjoying the ride.
