Giant Big Lantern at Kaminarimon Gate
The kanji character printed in giant big lantern at Kaminarimon gate means, “Thunder Gate” leading to the Senso-ji temple, Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo.
The two statue beside the giant red lantern, is the god of wind – Fujin on the east side of gate and the god of thunder – Raijin, is located on the west side of the gate.
