In this video series, we travel through Japan for 2 weeks. In this video, we visit Japan’s busy capital and the world’s most populous metropolis — TOKYO! We visited the usual spots like Akihabara, Shibuya, Harajuku, Asakusa, Sensoji, Odaiba and other districts.
Tokyo offers a seemingly unlimited choice of shopping, entertainment, culture and dining to its visitors. The city’s history can also appreciated in districts such as Asakusa and in many excellent and well-kept museums, historic temples and gardens.
Tokyo also offers a number of attractive green spaces in the city center and within relatively short train rides at its outskirts. However, since it was summer when we visited Tokyo during this trip, we didn’t bother visiting the parks and gardens (as we have also visited them 2 years prior).
There are two highlights to this visit in Tokyo though:
– Visiting the new Unicorn Gundam installation in Odaiba (since the previous statue was of the RX-78-2 Gundam)
– Visiting the new Hachiko statue with him meeting Professor Ueno
