We packed our bags and headed to Hanoi, Vietnam for our first time! We didn’t do a lot of research, so we didn’t know what to expect, but right when we arrived we were blown away by how dense and chaotic Hanoi’s Old Quarter was. At the same time the people were so calm and relaxed, and gave us a really good first impression. We ate amazing local food, learnt about Vietnam’s dark past, and saw a lot of interesting places in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. It’s only the start of our trip, and we can already tell it’s going to be a good one!
