When you think of Christmas markets, you probably think of Germany (and if not, then somewhere else in Western Europe) – but Eastern European countries have some of the most adorable and charming Christmas markets, too!
This is the Christmas market in Sofia, Bulgaria, and it was so warm and inviting, complete with all of the classic Christmas market treats and goodies: chimney cakes, wursts, pretzels, bubble waffles, Glühwein, German beer, chocolate, handmade ornaments, nutcrackers, knitted mittens and stockings, and much more 🤤
One thing that made this market unique was the main stage in the center where performers of all ages belted out classic Christmas tunes (in Bulgarian of course, which added to the fun!) 🥹
