This video was not sponsored. I paid for my own hotel stay. Our visit to Bac Giang was for Chau to see her family and for me to edit videos. However, the hotel manager at the Ravatel recognized me and invited us to have lunch with him and he gave us a tour of the property. The modern and luxurious aspects at such an amazing price inspired me to make a video that shows both sides of Bac Giang. The other side is Tho Ha, an ancient village known for its pottery, but now, is known for its banh trang rice paper and banh da. Special thanks to Viet for being so kind to us. https://ravatel.vn/

About Me: I’m Kyle Le and these are the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, the foods I’ve eaten, and the many things that I’ve seen…Originally from Southern California, I moved to Saigon, Vietnam after university and lived there for many years. Then, I traveled the world finding and documenting stories of Vietnamese people living outside of the homeland. Then I finished my master’s at USC and now… well… you’re going to have to follow and watch to find out!
