This walking tour video covers the entire Grenoble Christmas Market 2022 on the Victor Hugo Square (place Victor Hugo), which is the central town square of Grenoble.
You will see a lot of handicraft products, as well as typical French Christmas market street food like waffels, crepes, mulled wine / spiced wine, grilled chestnuts, or almond praline, but also local specialties of the French Alpes like Diots de Savoie (cooked sausages) and raclette cheese, served as raclette sandwich.
This Christmas Market is not as famous as the Strasbourg Christmas market, but it is also less touristy and more authentic.
Grenoble is called the capital of the French Alps and is located in the south-east of France about an hour’s drive from Lyon and about 1h40 from Geneva, Switzerland.
