Gosh, I never thought I would see what is left of the Huanan wet market in Wuhan, China.
I had seen the news of this academic paper by Worobey et al as it said this is the epicentre and decided to go and see what it looks like today: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35881010/ and https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abp8715
Whilst there is not much to see, as it completely flattened and nothing is there behind the fence, it is pretty incredible to just take in such sights to recognise why our lives have been all over the place and this is where the epicentre was.
