We’re a family of 5 from the United States, currently living in Peru, just south of Lima. Follow us on our journey from Lima to the north of Peru!
We came across this little town called Los Organos which is near Mancora, and we immediately fell in love! We spent time exploring several beach towns in the north of Peru: Mancora, Los Organos, Las Pocitas, Punta Sal, and Piura! Mancora was great, but it’s a little too loud for our taste, so Los Organos was such a great alternative for us since we wanted quiet, small beach town with good surfing.
We stayed at Piramide Titi, in beach bungalow’s that were cliff-side where you can hear the ocean waves crashing all night! It was incredible! The owner was so nice and we became good friends by the end of the trip! Such a powerful story about the history of the place too.
We highly recommend exploring the north of Peru when you visit! I know we’ll be back for sure!
