Road tripping is a fantastic way to spend your holiday when traveling around North Eastern Spain.Packed full of beautiful destinations, villages, culture, architecture and more.
This is a little highlight package of the trip we took for the last 3 weeks of October, visiting some of the most beautiful destinations of Spain.

We started in the Pyrénées mountains and got to see some of the Los Pueblos Màs Bonitos de España. Ainsa, Albarracin, Peniscola, Alquezar and Vilafames.

We made our way down through Zaragoza and then across to Teruel and went as far south as Valencia. One the way down there are some epic spot to visit in the Spanish plateau like the Castillo de Zafra.

On our way back up towards France we hit up the Costa Brava. Making our way through Barcelona it became apparent that our first visit to Barcelona would be our last……Barcelona is like crack, you try it once to see what its like and then you stay the fuck away for the rest of your life!!!!!

Our final stop of the trip was in Girona for the Halloween festivities. A fitting way to cap off our Spanish portion of the road trip. Girona is a fantastic Catalonian city well worth visiting. The fact that the halloween fair was going on at the same time was an added bonus. Life music, awesome food, roasted chestnuts and cheap beer couple all that with Game of thrones filming locations.

A cracking trip that is well worth doing by car so you can have the freedom to go see what ever you want. North Eastern Spain is by far a top destinations that is sure not to disappoint…..and if you go and you don’t like it…… Then stick to cruise ships and Disney world for your next vacation!!!
