This week, having had to come back to the UK due to Schengen rules, we are giving a snapshot of what we get up to motorhoming in the UK.
Our first stop was a lovely cl (part of the caravan and motorhome network of small 5 pitch sites in the UK) in Kingston close to Lewes on the South Downs. This was a great place for both hiking and biking and is somewhere which we will stop off again at.
From there we travel to Hannington – Fremantle farm cl. This had spectacular views over the North Downs and our Mobilvetta tickled the hedge on the way to the site (very narrow entrance).
From Hannington we had a quick stopover on a cl in Thame. This town is where midsomers murders is filmed.
Then we went up to Buckingham and a camping and caravaning cs (same ideals as CAMC cl) called Hedgehog retreat. Here we met Albert the alpaca. He made us smile with his quirky look.
Heading west we stayed in a cl close to chipping campden where disaster hits.
