Bulgaria is a very famous summer resort holiday destination – so of course I visited it in Winter.
I don’t know how about you, but I just love visiting various spots around the world off-season. There are a lot less people ( or no people whatsoever as in this case) and you generally have a better chance to see the place as locals do.
Join me a winter trip to the coast of the Black sea – to the city of Varna.
We will visit the Varna cathedral, it’s central pedestrian zone with the beautiful theater building, it’s many Roman remnants and the coastline, but most of all we will explore how the city change under 40 years of communist rule.
