I have entered a new province Jiangxi. Besides the big cities, Jiangxi has a lot more to offer. Did you know that porcelain was first found here? Historians believe Jingdezhen to have developed first pieces of porcelain as early as the 6th century CE which was then traded around the world through the ancient silk road.
Today the word “China” doesn’t solely refer to the country of China but is also used as a synonym of the word “porcelain” in English language. Meanwhile, the original Jingdezhen porcelain is stored in several museums or is traded to tremendous high amounts around the world.
