Hi travellers,
This video shows a first class carriage on board a fast train to Shanghai in China. First class is not the highest class of travel on a train, that is business class in China.
First class is ok for shorter trips, the recline is not bad, there is a foot rest. A drink is provided by the attendant. It is mostly quiet in this carriage. The layout is 2 x2.
I honestly have no idea how you know before the train shows up where to stand. I show the train man on the platform the text message, which shows the carriage and seat number and he just points. It can be quite a trek on the platform to your correct carriage. It does say the number of the carriage on the outside, once the train arrives.
There is also a second class seat, which is packed in a bit more than this.
