Arrived in France and travelled to the fortified city of Bergues , which 1500 years ago was a coastal port. Destroyed in 1940 during the retreat to Dunkirk and flattened again in 1944 most of the town including the churches and belfry were not rebuilt till the 1960’s
Quick trip to Belgium to deliver empty beer crates and then south towards another random stop at Buchy. A quiet town which we enjoyed a few beers before settling in for the night.
