The Catalan coast is quite extensive and stretches for 100 km north of Barcelona and about the same south. Conventionally, the entire coast can be divided into several zones. North of the rest is the coastal zone of the Costa Brava. Here the swimming season starts a little later, the water warms up a little more slowly, but the natural views are especially beautiful – the Pyrenees Mountains and the border with France are located nearby.
