Napoli – the city of the Italian Mafia, the best pizza in the world and maybe the worst service?
Me and my two close friends went on a girls weekend trip to Naples, Capri and Pompeii in April 2022 and of course I had to take you along to yet another Italy Vlog. We were warned to be carful, not to walk around in the late evening and to be wary while exploring Naples. Well, apart from the usual sketchy people (maybe pick-pocketers), the homeless and the dirty streets of this busting city we didn’t see or experience anything bad. Quite the opposite – we had lots of fun, ate so much delicious food, drank maybe a little too much wine, limoncello and Aperol spritz, saw some amazing places and had the best time! In 4 days we explored as much as possible and couldn’t get enough!
If you ever decide to visit Naples, come with an open mind, don’t judge the way of life here, but try experiencing it and you’ll see that it will charm you. And don’t miss to visit the breathtaking island of Capri (as we did on our day trip) and the famous Pompeii, which you can easily reach with a train from Napoli.
