As a winemaker I travel a lot, so I have the opportunity to visit very interesting wine producing countries. None of my destinations was quite like Georgia. This combination of modern and ancient style in the capital Tbilisi was just amazing. There is some unique atmosphere you can feel around the city. Every small village in Kakheti region, in eastern Georgia, has own history and really hospitable peasants.

I was kind of a skeptical but in the end it was such a great experience. Good cuisine, stunning wines and fantastic nature. Georgia is just one of a kind.
