Southeast Asia has around 250 coasters spread throughout its 11 countries. However, about 124 of them are kiddie coasters. Additionally: 11 are alpine, 17 would be mini steel coasters, 7 are powered, 9 are spinning wild mouse, and 9 are SBNO or under construction which leaves about 60 other larger or interesting coasters left.
In this countdown, I will talk about the top 25 coaster (or 40 because I combine coasters and/or can’t count) that I would like to ride in this region of the world. Since I haven’t ridden any of these coasters (except the ones in Thailand), I’m just looking at which ones are interesting, unique, or look like quality coasters.
I hope this overview helps you get excited about the roller coasters of Southeast Asia! And gives you a good guide as to which coasters are worth seeking out in this region.
