I moved further down the western coast of Turkey to the coastal, port city of Bodrum, famous for its 4th century castle and fortress.

I arrived just in time for sunset and enjoyed a few beers in a beach bar before heading into the city in the search for food.

I found a kebab place with an unusual pricing system which seemed only to be used on tourists. Reviews on Google Maps suggested that this was a scam. The food was decent, though relatively expensive. Had I fallen victim to the great Bodrum kebab scam?

The only way to overcome this tragic occurence was to spend the rest of the night drinking in a rock bar.

Join me on my first evening in this beautiful Turkish city.
