What’s happening people of the world?!?! So you’ve bought your one way ticket to Southeast Asia? You’re getting ready for the adventure of a lifetime! You and your homies are rolling out to see the world? What do you pack? These are my top 7 tips for making traveling so much easier in this part of the world. PACK LIGHT!! You don’t need the kitchen sink! Anything you could possibly need you can buy on the street for substantially less than you could in your home country! You can even bargain for it! Don’t pack too heavy as it will just cause unwanted stress and financial burden. The airlines will tax you to the core for having a heavy bag and walking around all day with a heavy loaded backpack is going to kill you physically! I recommend just a few LIGHT colored shirts as it will be hot this time of year, phone charger, power bank, basic toiletries and an international drivers permit. You really don’t need a lot and the hassle of packing/unpacking your bag at every hostel/stop can be a real pain and we want traveling and backpacking in particular to be as cheap and effortless as possible. The last thing you want to do is have to unpack your massive bag just to find one thing only to have to repack it just to unpack it later that day. Plus, you will be renting scooters and strapping down your 100 liter osprey bag IS NOT THE WAY FAM!! ANYTHING YOU NEED CAN BE BOUGHT FOR CHEAP SO DON’T TRIP! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime and have the time of your life! I hope to see you in SE ASIA soon!
