About Coimbatore International Airport
Coimbatore International Airport is an international airport and the primary airport serving the industrial cities of Coimbatore, Erode and Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu, India. It is located in the neighbourhood of Peelamedu, about 10 km from Coimbatore’s city centre. It is the 18th-busiest airport in India for passengers handled, 17th-busiest for total aircraft movement and 15th-busiest for cargo handled. It is the second busiest airport in Tamil Nadu in terms of total passenger traffic after Chennai International Airport. The airport is served by five Indian and three foreign carriers providing direct connectivity to nine domestic and three international destinations.

About Scoot
Scoot Pte Ltd, operating as Scoot, is a Singaporean low-cost airline and a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. It began its operations on 4 June 2012 on medium and long-haul routes from Singapore, predominantly to various airports throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Scoot’s airline slogan is Escape the Ordinary.
Initially, Scoot’s fleet consisted of Boeing 777-200ER aircraft that were obtained from its parent company, Singapore Airlines. In 2015, the airline began to transition its long-haul fleet to the Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Scoot uses the Airbus A320 and the Airbus A320neo family for its short-haul flights.
About Airbus 321neo
The Airbus A321 is a member of the Airbus A320 family of short to medium range, narrow-body, commercial passenger twin engine jet airliners; it carries 185 to 236 passengers. It has a stretched fuselage which was the first derivative of the baseline A320 and entered service in 1994, about six years after the original A320. The aircraft shares a common type rating with all other Airbus A320-family variants, allowing previous A320-family pilots to fly the aircraft without the need for further training.
In December 2010, Airbus announced a new generation of the A320 family, the A320neo (new engine option). The similarly lengthened fuselage A321neo variant offers new, more efficient engines, combined with airframe improvements and the addition of winglets (called Sharklets by Airbus). The aircraft delivers fuel savings of up to 15%. The A321neo carries up to 244 passengers, with a maximum range of 4,000 nmi (7,400 km) for the long-range version when carrying no more than 206 passengers.
