Shawn you are an absolute star showing the journey like that I would have thought it was alot harder to get there thank you so much for sharing this with us both of you I will be watching again tomorrow the only time I have been to Disney Paris was by coach 17 hour journey and my youngest was about 12 then he's 35 now lol so you can see its been a while but looking forward to these others you are doing never heard of a by of them thank you both so much xx
Nice vlog! I live in Folkestone and can see the channel tunnel from my bedroom window lol (approx 750m away)
Not to be pedantic but Eurostar do use both tunnels as they are simply North & South running. You get some fantastic views of the whole site up on the hills.
Also: the white horse on the hills is the local councils logo (Folkestone & Hythe District Council) 😊
The tunnel still feels like nightmare fuel to me, but a bit less now that I've seen you explain everything in such detail.
Twinkle twinkle little star is in the key of C, not D 🙂
Always wanted to go on the Euro tunnel ,great vlog , looking forward to the next one on you amazing trip . ❤❤
Thanks for sharing the euro tunnel trip. Looks very efficient and well operated. Enjoy the theme park both of you and your hotel stay. Looking forward to the next vlog 😀
Fun fact my dad helped with the euro tunnel but great video
that was funny when he said toad instead of road that made me laugh
plopsaland shoud have a ride to do with poop with it being called plopsaland lol🤣
Always look forward to your theme park vlogs abroad and this one no exception. The Ride To Happiness is just incredible. The park is a very exciting place to visit so enjoy guys.
What was your best part of the journey
Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow what a great travel vlog it's such a great piece of engineering the channel tunnel. I've never been through it thanks for showing how easy it was . Happy Easter to you both love as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
The piano is NOT out of tune; "Twinkle Twinkle little Star" isn't in Dorian, it's in Ionian (or Major.) Start on C or G next time, NOT D. You're welcome.
6:54 Also looks like the service plazas you see in Europe and the USA. In the USA, it is usually seen on the toll roads, Ohio Turnpike, Pennsylvania Turnpike, Florida Turnpike, you name it where they have a Burger King, Starbucks. So people don't have to exit and find a McDonald's off the ramp and deal with a stop sign, traffic signal, even if next to the highway. I hope I get to go through the Eurotunnel someday.
Great video welcome to belgium shawn and charlotte have a nice day
Would you do a video about driving in France? As I think that puts some people off with what you need legally in your car for driving in France
There is no way tickets were £80 if this was recorded in 2023. More like £160. We have used eurotunnel for nearly 10 years now. We had a frequent traveller account and tickets were much cheaper. We are now using ferries for about 2 years. Eurotunnel tickets are over £100 return than ferries. If you look on direct ferries webside they are the most expensive
22:30 awesome how Shaun wishes them a "good evening" when it isn't even noon yet 🤣
Great video! We used eurotunnel and drove abroad for the first time to go to Disneyland Paris in February. Was much easier than expected! You really have opened our eyes to a world of theme parks. Thank you!
So happy Charlotte is full time now on the channel
If you have Tesco vouchers you can use them to pay for the tunnel
Charlotte I was a kid when they built Eurotunnel, and I also thought it would be like going through a Sea Life tank 😂
Best theme park experts on YouTube ❤
I thought the same as Charlotte that it was like and aquarium tunnel 😂 first time through on a school trip was a disappointment, and I wasn't the only one who thought it!
Hey, when are you going back to Disney land because the guides are going to Paris during the 29th July and 2nd august and would love to meet u
Did not know one tunnel was euro star and one le shuttle thought it was one tunnel for each direction, so can't travel both directions at same time?
Is it possible to go through this tunnel on our bicycles?
How do you get to the park if you don’t drive , where do you fly to and how do you get to the park?? Thanks
I went to France through the Eurostar ( London ) to go to Disneyland Paris last year. It was amazing! Great to see you heading towards France and Belgium, love the videos, keep it up!
Shawn: it’s very fast very efficient
Me: everything the ferry isn’t nowadays, good thing you took the Eurotunnel or else you’d still be in that 14 hour Queue at Dover
I always love your videos Shawn and Charlotte! What a fantastic channel this is. I’m going on my first ever solo trip to Walt Disney World & Universal in under 2 weeks time and I cannot wait! I really would love to see a vlog on how to actually plan and book your trips along with how you plan all the filming, I think others would find that really interesting!
a small FYI, the trucks pulling in at the border crossing is to change the Tachograph setting. They have to change it for every border they cross and need to be stationary to do so 😉
Face masks only stop 0.05% of viral particles 😉
Humans are an idiot species…
Happy traveling and of course I will watch all your video's when they come out!
Greetings from the Netherlands…
Have you thought about Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in your Clio? Makes it a lot easier to use your phone to navigate while driving ❤ we went to Disneyland Paris last week too!!
Great video! Love seeing the travel portion of these videos! and Travel Vlogs!
There's You Tube video covering the whole history of the Chunnel in detail!
Cheers,
Rik Spector
Great to see an in-depth look at the Eurotunnel, will be travelling through in July for a trip to Normandy!
