    We have really enjoyed our European road trip so far, despite breaking down in France we have really started to make progress and are enjoying it so much.

    After arriving in Chamonix near Mont Blanc, where sadly 2 days ago we found out 6 people lost their lives in an Avalanche just south west of Mont Blanc, very scary!

    We have now moved into Switzerland and after and epic night on the Route De La Vallee we passed through the city of Martigny and made our way to the Regionaler Naturpark Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut and stopped at a ski resort near the towns of La Lécherette & Les Mosses.

    We decided that this was the best place to have some lunch so we did just that by using the Ecoflow River 2 Pro and our new Air Fryer, which is when the unexpected explosion happened, quite funny!

    “Travel with Gary and Amika”

    Welcome to the Official Travel with Gary and Amika YouTube Channel, a father daughter combo capturing campervan style travel vlogs in and around the mountains, beaches, campsites and wild camping fully off grid.

    Gary is dedicated to his daughters future and enjoys documenting her passion for life, which is apparent through Amikas constant giggling and smiles. He is well travelled having visited some 39 countries, however this quickly became difficult to continue when Amika was born. With his love for travel he wasnt going to let being a single father tie him down. When Amika was just 5 they jumped on a plane and backpacked around Romania and have since visited France and Spain twice exploring the Pyrenees mountain range.

    In January 2022 Gary bought on old builders van and converted into a fully off grid tiny home on wheels with the aim of getting out and about as much as possible to see more of the world. YouTube seemed the perfect way to documented these travels and to take a step into the world of becoming a digital nomad.

    Gary and Amika both thank you for being here and hope that through their videos they can bring you a sense of adventure, a lots of laughter and with a clear message that you should never grow up and never take life too seriously!

      Someone said to me to heat a pin up and push in to the egg, and then it shouldn’t explode because there’s no pressure or pressure release

      Goodness, it has been over 40 years since I was there. In those days you had snow on top of the mountains even in August, sadly no longer the case

      When Cooking boiled eggs pierce the bottom this allows the air sack to vent preventing the egg from exploding in the air fryer you can buy a proper tool from a cookshop or Amazon they go by the name egg piercer price range £1.62 to £3.82, when cooking a mixed grill in an air fryer put the sausages in first cook then halfway through put bacon in the eggs last (depending on how well done you want them) simple rule always put the item that takes the longest to cook in first.
      I am a little concerned about the analogue timer on your air fryer as thes have a tendency to stick after a period of time which is why manufacturers are using digital nowadays (first job was in a returns department for a multi national electrical company working with engineers)

      That night view with Amica sitting in the doorway looking out was fabulous. Really spectacular.
      That one view was worth all the cost of getting there.

      The colour is Aston Martin Green at least that’s the vibe I get. Makes the van slightly aggressive and masculine in my view. Bloody good for less than a hundred quid. Wonderful location brings back memories of me as a 14 year old schoolboy out of control on the school trip. Will provide you both with memories that will never leave you.

      What a great video especially the on board driving cam .It really brings the video to life .Absolutely stunning scenery
      The ecoflow is a great bit of kit .I use mine to power my diesel heater because it charges so quickly unlike the leisure which is bulky and takes forever to charge .
      I'll definitely be going back through your previous videos and dropping a few comments as your channel deserves to grow .

      Nice one Gary and Amika, lovely scenery. I wouldn't bother with new doors mate…i had a couple of big dents in mine i just purchased a suction cup with handle on and that got most of the dents out, only cost £10. All the best Dave.

      i looked into cooking eggs in the air fryer , No explode guarenteed every time
      Temp shoul be 150*c
      1. For soft boiled eggs, cook for 9 minutes

      For medium boiled eggs, cook for 11 minutes

      For hardboiled eggs, cook for 14 minutes.

      2. Place them in cold or iced water to avoid further cooking.
