I’m taking Surugawan Ferry from Shimizu to Toi. If you are lucky, you’ll see a beautiful view of Mount Fuji.
This ferry is often cancelled. I really recommend you to have a plan B if you wish to take this ferry.

  1. I'm gonna be pathetic and admit I was really excited you got the Aqours bus and then when I saw another one at the end. This was such a nice route, even if you didn't get to see Mt. Fuji clearly. Also too bad the curry was too small for you, maybe the next adventure will have something bigger!

  2. A lovely video. I agree that the start of the cable car ride was a little scary! And that the black curry was priced too high. I hope you got some curry at the end of your trip to make you happy.

  3. Was looking forward to seeing this ,l got the new video notification when it was released. My cat is sleeping on me and my dog beside me. Soon I'll be sleeping too

  4. I find the haze pleasing as it makes the snow cap on Mt Fuji look like a cloud. The cable car is scary but the views from the top are magnificent.

  5. Have you ever visited the hotel Kieunkan (the oldest hotel in the world) that nestles at the foot of Mount Fuji? It would be awesome if you could do a travel-doc on your experiences in that hotel as well as the accessibility for potential tourists and what food is available for guests

  6. Me and my husband have been watching you for some time now. After a long day of work sometimes we just lay in bed and watch your videos because they are soothing and we would love to visit Japan one day. This channel is an escape for both of us. Thank you

  7. What a fun and easy trip! Thanks Solo-san.

Have you heard of the Pokรฉmon Yadon (Slowpoke) themed ferry? I'd love to see a video of it one day ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ‘

  8. Beautiful and so peaceful video. I am truly grateful for all these quiet adventures you take us on. And oh! the beautiful and majestic Mt. Fuji presented itself under this mystical mistโ€ฆ. It was truly breathtaking and felt very sacred to be "there", even for a brief moment. I do not know why I sometimes feel somehow emotional while watching your videos, but I appreciate them very much.
Thank you for letting us join you on these journeys, STJ-san. You are a gem.

  9. I enjoy your peaceful travel videos Mr Solo. I like your subtle humour. If we had met in life I feel we could have become friends. Alas I never visited Japan when I had the chance. Now I am not enjoying good health, so travel is unlikely. I did a lot of solo travels some years ago, so now I must be happy watching you. Thanks!
