I’m taking Ocean Tokyu Ferry in Japan, which is known for having a lot of vending machines onboard. Also, this is a perfect ferry to enjoy solitude.
I took the exact same ferry from Tokyo to Shinmoji

Yikes That pizza looked rough when it was still in frozen state
I don’t know why but I love these videos And I love Japan Never been But if I wasn’t terrified of flying it would be my first choice
Edit – the pizza still looks rough
Solo Traveller san, the title to this video is “anti-click bait.” It just made me think this is going to be depressing. So I haven’t watched it.
By now. You should have a oven mitt with on your travels. : – )
Maybe it's just these types of videos, but modern Japan seems like one giant "liminal space." And I find that attractive.
🤣sun flowerrrrrrrrrr
what a great way to travel – serene and the food looks exceptional considering it is a frozen meal.
I love those big banknotes!
Your travel vids are so quiet, an escape as if I am on a mini journey through you. Thank you for your wonderful work.
You slept in a toilet
🤣🤣🤣 ‘I don’t want to carry coins’. lol you’re right, it’s better to carry food in your stomach, instead.
Why does the route exist? Why not simply leave from Ehime
no thanks…….far to antiseptic and plastic for me and no privacy……..the japanese people are used to this level of informality though
Its a pleasure watch your videos, I kind of envy you, we dont have that kind of transportation here in Argentina but I really enjoy watching your adventures. Cheers Mate, keep them coming!
I love how you don't talk in these and just let the experience speak for itself. <3
interesting and fun!
Where are you? Hope everything is okay.
Was this some kind of ghost ship?! How do they stay afloat? Pun intended!
I need to go to Japan just to do this!!
At 01:39 is that Traveller San's voice we are hearing? If so that would be a 1st.
how do these ferry companies make money with no passengers? or is it government owned/subsidized?
You must have slept well after eating all of that wonderful food. ☺
I'm pretty sure eating Pizza with chop sticks, is a major crime. 🤌
4:07 the hallway looks a little like a school! cute!
Thank you for a new view of Japan .
I remember the first video of your trip on this ferry over a year ago! time flies.
Sailed through the Inland Sea of Japan many times. And all around those islands. A little tanker ship, and enjoyable seas.
that shot of the capsules in the dark looked like a horror film
How you eat so much
Finishes five dinners. I'm full. You prob have five stomachs
It's like you are the solo awake passenger on a long space flight. Eating pizza with chopsticks, Japanese move 😃
Dude, you're eating too much!!
I swear you have a hollow leg. Where are you putting all that food?
Thank you for showing this…it looks so peaceful.
You eat my bill
I eat my meal
That taco rice looks very good
Are the ferries always so empty of people? It must cost a lot to operate this ship, it doesn't seem like passenger fares would come close to covering the cost of making this 14 hour trip. Or does the charge for carrying freight make up the difference?
Is it typical to have one passenger onboard besides the crew that runs the ship?
That's a high calorie ferry ride! 😂
everything is so clean.
eat my coins 🙂
