  1. I enjoyed this. Some good shots, and i liked your commentary. I have to confess my prejudices however: I think I would rather travel by plane, than HST euro-style: its bland. Give me LNER London-Edinburgh any day. I need that sense of history!
    I haven't been on the new Eurostar's, but don't they have UK sockets?

  2. Yep the Eurostar is a nice train ride for sure. But let's be honest, the Northen French countryside is about as exciting as, err, well the Cambridgeshire Fens (sorry guys!). So a wonderful journey it definitely isn't! I once got off at Calais Frethun and was shocked to find there was absolutely nothing there. Didn't realise it is some distance from Calais. At least I enjoyed the tumbleweed blowing around the station!
