      Driving from kampong Cham to PP yesterday the bongo van taxis were all empty heading back to PP and absolutely flying to do more trips out of the city

      I am always excited when I see that there is a for real video waiting for me to watch. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the New Year's videos that you guys produce. I don't know that I'll ever moved there because where I live right now it gets up to 45° already

      That's great news! I'm glad that they're going to utilize solar power energy! It would benefit the kingdom as it's much cheaper an eco-friendly more than other alternatives

      Thanks for the news. 7 weeks before I arrive in PP. I am already checking out what means of transport I want. A Honda Dream or Super Cub. And should I buy one or rent one. I am a bit confused watching these rides. When give way to cars or bikes coming from the right? I would love to see a instruction video of bike riding and things traffic rules etc.

      Take care in the heat. It was 41 today in Luang Prabang but maybe a little cooler for the New Year weekend, then climbing well into the 40s. Good advice to drink lots and lots of water and eat fruit. Also adding electrolytes particularly if you are older – like we are. 😂 And we just stay indoors from 2.00 until 6.00 in the afternoon as this seems to be the worst time. So the water games are a big attraction here!

      I was riding through the jungle and the road had a big sign saying Tiger Reintroduction Area. The ladies by the road all waved at me to stop and pointed at a different road. I got the impression that the tigers were already there. Siem Reap is looking great, but gee is it hot.

      Don't count on your power bill going down as they gear up renewable energy. I live in Costa Rica, and for the last 6 years, we have been at 99.9% of our total electricity production from renewables. During that same time period, my electric bill has gone from $37. to $154. per month. We can fight climate change, but corruption is forever.

      Happy New Year guys. I am continually impressed with how lovely Siem Reap is these days (always was I guess, but bigger now), including the super-ride-able roads out of town. Enjoy your time there. Kinda jealous.
