    Welcome to Kuala Lumpur International Airport! I’ve been to Malaysia quite a few times in the past, but I never get to fly with Malaysia airlines. This morning, thanks to Oman Air, I’m finally going to fly with them to Bali Denpasar on an A330 aircraft. Hopefully, it’ll be a great experience. Let’s go!

      Great review but business class feels like over kill for such a short flight. The Malaysian Airlines staff are alway that good as well – stark contrast to Qantas.

      I always had very sub par experiences at the First Class dining room. Oh! There used to be a small self serve buffet at the main First lounge, misit be a victim of COVID. I've always found the catering to be heaps better in the business lounge. The so called premium economy seats in the A330 used to be business … But they all got squashed together using less space with the Vantage shell seats. Last time I took this flight, it was a clapped out 737-800😅. Can't go wrong with MH Nasi Lemak, some of the best in the sky.

      PTSD from being in that KLIA terminal during covid when everything was closed. Very depressing place. My favourite thing about Malaysian Airways is the boarding music lol.

      Good review. I had a broadly positive experience with MA last year. The long-haul product is very good and the short-haul's good too. But the airline cancelled a connecting flight and that makes me wary of trusting them again until they have fully recovered from the pandemic.

      I think your videos would be even more helpful if you included details of your flight ticket, the price paid and any possible discount available !!

      KLIA is notorious for being an "traveller-unfriendly" airport. Other than the confusing signage you saw, the Aerotrain is broken all the time. You are lucky that you grasped a room in Sama Sama Hotel with a nice view. The room I stayed had no window at all as if it was a cell. Should give a thumb up to Malaysia Airlines who delivered warm Malaysian hospitality. It is also one of my favourite airlines.

      MH is such a come down after flying Omanair (plane, seat comfort, catering, service) That certainly was my experience flying from NZ to Europe on an Omanair ticket last September. A real shame to see Malaysia's demise from a 5 star airline (and to think i rated them higher than SQ years ago because I truly thought that). The crew are still warm. The Auckland to KL leg can be such a lottery. You might get lucky and get a flight operated by their A350 (hint 27A is a great seat in scum class. Well, I like it) or you will be stuck in purgatory on their ex-AirBerlin, pensioner, A330-200s, contorted with your ankles near your ear lobes! I believe they've ordered A330-900s which would really up their competiveness. The A339 is a superb aircraft for passenger comfort. Better than the A359 or the 789 in my humble opinion.

      First time watching your travel video. Great video and commentary. I’m also impressed with MAS in flight seat layout, f&b and service. Never transited in KLIA but it does look appealing. Would try one day.

      I flew from Sydney to Milan using Malaysian and Oman there is no comparison between the airlines I would never fly Malaysian again lack of storage in business class and cramped seat – terrible experience.
