300 million for a road. What are they using to make that road… gold dust. These construction companies take forever to complete a road and always have cost overruns.
There is a point with even great makeup where I do not even have a baseline understanding of what someone looks like. I am honestly not sure how to describe it.

Marvel Island is awesome ie Hulk and Spiderman. Storm is ok for what it is and DD is fine for a short wait filler ride. The character dinner interactions were great too.

Spider-Man ride at universal is so much better than the one at dca. I walked of the one at Disney so disappointed and I love the new movies.

So Universal can think up a trackless carousel but when Disney whiteboards a Mary Poppins pitch, they come up with teacups? This is why Universal is winning.
I could see that Marvel Themepark rights for Florida will be used as a bargaining chip when Universal acquires Warner Brothers next year (or the year after). I'd reckon there are already talks happening so Disney won't put up much of a fight when Universal and WB announce the merger.
Universal could then probably do a DC retheme at Islands of Adventure.
Although I have no idea how the Six Flags' rights fit into this, but it would probably be dealt with when the time comes.
If only Universal then had some other place to expand the their DC (Epic) Universe 😉😉😉

For someone who worked at Universal Studios Hollywood I feel you guys don’t always give news to both parks. Please give more info to Hollywood please.
The cool thing about the carousel is that it may have a load and unload area where the rest of the ride keeps going. Would imagine it would help with the rate greatly.
Like Disney would do anything with Marvel. It took them how long to get these Avengers Campuses going? And they suuuuuuck. The only worthwhile things they have done are with the Guardians, so they can stick to that and let Universal continue to show how the characters should be treated.

If Disney wants the Marvel rights from Universal they're going to have to make a deal with them for something that Universal wants. And at best they'll get non-exclusive rights, which they might get for trading the rights to The Simpsons.

I want Villain con minion blast to be good but I am skeptical. This is nowhere near equaling what IOA has with new rides in Velocicoaster and Hagrids. Hopefully it is not another one ride only attraction like Supercharged
