I've been to Sochi in 2014-2015. It is quite a developed and a bit overpopulated region. No surprise, since many of my acquaintances dream about living in a warm place. There is barely any snow (usually about 3 weeks in January). I lived in Adler (about 4:30) – it was over-encumbered with cars so the traffic was bad there, but having walks there was great. I'm not a big fan of sunbathing, so I had several trips to the local sightseeing points. Definitely worth visiting.
