There are 25,000 thausend palaces, castles and mansions in Germany ,greetings from germany, manu from bavaria
I'm pretty sure the island was "Baltrum" my favorite place on earth. It's tiny and there are no cars (besides firetrucks and an ambulance). It's the best place to recharge.
More of Germany you find here: World Heritage Sites in Germany 4 parts, https://youtu.be/Pbmr4cJXU8U , https://youtu.be/gBBeHasQyC8 , https://youtu.be/NN5qGvKcn20 , https://youtu.be/Bhd-6fWDAZg
at 12:23–12:32 is my hometown 😀 Münster 4 life!
Of course none these american youtubers will never move to germany. They just need to make money off youtube doing these production videos. They need to invest in better acting classes.
The only 'country' in the world that has more castles than Germany is Wales (oc not in total but just per square mile). And of course the reasons, why these two countries have so much castles are quite the same. It's all about politics. Neither Germany nor Wales had a central government for several centuries, so practically all local 'rulers' felt the need to build castles to protect their 'private property' against their neighbors.
What looks like a castle @11:14 and is called das Rote Schloss am Meer, is actually the german navy academy: Marineschule Mürwik located in the northernmost town, Flensburg. So that doesn't count.
Greetings from Germany nice Video .😉
4:37 this is Kaiser Barbarossa
8:05 here he is again
Das ist nicht mehr mein Deutschland.
This isn't my Germany anymore.
In fact, there are around 20,000 castles in Germany, possibly as many as 25,000.
Thank you for the very nice video! Greetings from Finland. In my young adult years I lived 20 Years in Germany, it was divided then. My best foreign language is German. Berlin I still would like to visit this year again, maybe Christmas- market time.
In germany we habe about 25.000 castles.
The closest city in the usa to germany or europe is new orleans btw ✌️
every German city has a castle or palace, because every city was administered by a ruler in the Middle Ages
Every time I watch this video I get goosebumps! I am German and live abroad. Btw.: If you switch on the subtitles, you will see the locations

Everywhere you go, you’ll encounter castles in Germany as almost every city has at least one castle somewhere. Some are rather new (200-300 years old) while others are over a 1000 years old, like for example the castle in my city which was build around 800 AD in order to withstand the attacks of the vikings. 😄
And concerning the islands: Germany has 77 islands. The biggest island of Germany is Rügen in the Baltic Sea. The biggest German island in the North Sea is Sylt. 😄
If you are so excited about the castles… there is a video only for German castles. 😁
Around 25,000 castles
