Welcome to our latest travel video comparing two of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia – Bali and Thailand. Both of these destinations are famous for their exotic beaches, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. But in this video, we’re going to share why we believe one of them is the most attractive option.

First off, Bali offers a unique and authentic cultural experience that can’t be found in Thailand. From the ancient temples like Tanah Lot, to the endless rice fields, you can immerse yourself in the local culture in Bali. In addition, Bali is known for its friendly and welcoming locals who are always happy to share their culture and traditions with visitors.

When it comes to stunning beaches, both Bali and Thailand have a lot to offer.

Another reason why Bali is the best option is its natural beauty. The island is home to majestic volcanoes, picturesque rice terraces, and tropical rain forests. Exploring these natural wonders gives you a unique and unforgettable experience that you won’t find elsewhere.

Finally, Bali is also known for its affordable prices, so you won’t have to break the bank to enjoy an amazing vacation. From cheap accommodations to delicious street food, Bali can be the perfect destination for budget-conscious travellers.

So there you have it – Bali is a unique and exceptional destination that in our opinion, beats Thailand in most aspects except the food. Come and experience the harmonious blend of local culture, stunning beaches, and natural beauty in Bali.

We resigned from our high school teaching positions to find the balance that was severely lacking in our lives. After suffering the effects of burnout and stress we needed to make a change for the better. One that would see us living our best lives! Life is too short!

On the 28th August 2022 we begin our journey of learning what it takes to become digital nomads so we can travel full time and live our best lives. We have given ourselves two years to work it all out and would love for you to subscribe to our channel and join us on our journey.

  1. Hi guys, we love your videos and like you, would spend hours, days, weeks planning our trips. Thailand is much different to Bali as you say, not as ‘homely’ as Bali due to the size I guess! The name of the local pickup bus/Ute is the Baht Bus! Keep up the good work 🎉

  2. Bali the resort we stayed at was incredibly run and so many gardeners. In Phuket there was huge gardens too but not many gardeners! Thailand has better sand and prettier. Balinese sellers are more pushy whereas Phuket they ask once if you want something then walk away. Flight time is way better to Bali from Australia too. Wow 2 months in Bali I’m jealous enjoy

  3. Good to know about the planning thing. I am like you Deb, I like to plan it out properly. I just got back from Bali a few days ago and have to say that perhaps one day the rice fields will not be in sight of your accommodation soon. It seems developers have arrived and changing the landscape 😢. I also noticed the trend of apartment living has started, even in Sanur. I am like you and love Bali for those beautiful carved doors, well maintained and cared for gardens. I like a private villa style living that's for sure. Prices are rising! But still love it ❤
