How much do you know about Honduras? Not much? We did not either when we crossed the border.

Last week we travelled through El Salvador. In this episode we cross the border to Honduras and embark for a week of overlanding through the country. We really do not know much about the country apart from the classic news related to gang violence. So let’s go! Comayagua, the mountains, La Ceiba, the Caribbeans …

We hope you enjoy the ride! and next week we go to Honduras!

Have a good week and untill next Saturday, Take care

  1. Nick and Mathilde, 💑 Love your channel, 💘glad you are safe, but don't push your luck. I think avoiding cities is smart, amazing how you both all ways make friends, being friendly helps, keeping you safe. Looking forward for more adventures. Cheers ☕☕🤵

  2. Another superb episode guys.
    Honduras looks amazing.
Again we see friendly people, beautiful beaches and hikes, good food, nice warm temperatures, and all of this accessible at reasonable cost.
    C’est bon! 😊

  3. How beautiful is that sea:) Love the beach. Your journeys are always interesting. I would want to travel forever . So much to see and experience. You have met some lovely helpful people . Places are what you make them and i think it may be more uncomfortable in the cities. Stay safe and keep on loving life:)💕

  4. Homicides per 100 thousand people in 2022

    Honduras 🇭🇳: 35.8 Murders

    El Salvador 🇸🇻: 7.8 Murders

You cannot judge both countries in the same way.

  5. El Salvador in 2023 is the safest country in the Americas and Honduras is the second most violent country, only surpassed by Venezuela.

There are very different realities in both countries.

  6. Y'all r so cute. I'm old enuf to b ur grandma. And like all grandma's I don't want u to have any troubles. Again excellent AV. The 5 star flag was educational. Learning a lot from ur journey. Will 🙏 that u have received ur drones. Thanks for sharing ur wonderful journey.

  7. Always put the address on the inside of the box as well as the outside, in case the out side of the box gets damaged. I worked at the post office and it happens.

  8. Haven’t seen you guys in a while but I caught up on where you are right now. We are coincidentally embarking on the PAH and currently headed North to Alaska.

You guys seem to be zipping through the countries really fast. Since you have a YouTube channel, if you want to build up content and make that your revenue stream for funding your projects in the future, you have to slow down and document and show more of your journey in detail which is what gets people interested in your channel. You are traveling at breakneck speed through countries and there isn’t much detail or depth to your content except you are passing through countries really fast. Anyway, that’s just a personal opinion and I don’t know what your plans are.

I’d say we’ll see you on the road but you guys are moving fast so fat chance we are going to catch up with you lol We have a 2+ years time horizon and we plan on exploring Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil after we reach Ushuaia.

Happy trails and a safe journey.

  9. Awesome video as always Nick and Matilda. Y'all always find the most amazing and beautiful place to camp. And y'all always meet the most friendly people wherever y'all go.

  10. Another amazing place and people . One thing i have noticed is the lack of wildlife in a lot of these green lush places, you have visited .A sad warning of our times.!!

  11. Thank you for showing us some of the nicest spots of each country. Honduras has some beautiful tropical mountains and tropical beaches. Your videos are very educational and showing us things that most of us would never see. 👍🏻👍🏻

  12. cool to see you so positive and pleasant every week .
    so many countries!
    you remember me a joke:
A cop controls 2 Native Americans. he asks the first.
    -Where are you living?
-I´m living on the path, in the trees, in the rivers, in the mountains, in the sky, in the animals…
    -hmm and you?
    – I am his neighbor

have a safe and nice trip !!! See you next week

  13. Contente que pour le moment, vous continuez à rester en sécurité. Pourvu que ça dure !
Au cas où … avez-vous une idée de comment gérer certaines situations ? Comment prévenir vos proches ou quelqu’un de confiance qui pourrait agir … ?
    Bonne journée les chéris 😘😜💖

  14. Hola Nico y Mathilde, another great video enjoyed with a coffee. The footage was amazing, your friendly personality gives way to meet nice, fun and interesting people.
