We kick off our Tuscan road trip by visiting the capital of Tuscany, Florence. We start the day the Italian way and take in the beautiful, yet busy city. We head off into nature and find a campsite amongst a vineyard, all to ourselves. However when we get there we experience a couple of van life mishaps, a broken fridge and we run out of gas! The next day we head to a cafe to have our morning coffee and we start Tuscany’s best hike on all trails, Colle Val d’Elsa – Cascata del Diborrato – San Marziale.  Tom’s bottle floats away and we move on to Monteriggioni, a beautiful medieval town, where one beer sends Iz a bit bonkers. We find a wild camping spot amongst vineyards and watch the storms from the comfort of La Bamba. We pop into Siena on day 3 as we take some of the most incredible and stereotypical drives in Tuscany. We finish the day at a campsite where you can order pizza straight to the campsite! On our final day on this roadtrip we walk to the Cascata del Molino, Saturnia, the famous hot springs here at 6 in the morning so we have the place to ourselves. It was amazing, 37 degrees warm water from natural suphurous water. We are in such a good mood and head to our final destination to see what Tuscany’s coastline has to offer.
