    Van Life Europe Begins!! When we did Van Life in the United States we couldn’t believe how cheap you could travel. Now 2 years later we have finally shipped our camper van to Europe. We share all the costs and details so you can do this one day too. Traveling internationally has always been our favorite but we hated moving from place to place with our suitcases.       I’m a US citizen and planning to stay in Europe for a year and because of the 90 days in 180, I was looking for another options and I found that Italy had something called Elective Residency Visa. All you need to do is to show bank statement for 32k euros per person and Airbnb reservation for one year and since you have the van, you can cancel the Airbnb after you submit your documents.

      Guys, you MUST visit Ghent, Bruges, and Brussels before you leave. Belguim is SO awesome ! Ghent and Bruges have got to be some of the most Instagram worthy cities in Europe.

      U2 did it πŸ… made shipping a Van engaging viewing!! After grad school and a year wandering all over Europe.. speaking haphazard German.. I shipped my VW campervan from Germany to San Diego. In the late 80s it had hardly been done before. It arrived in 1 piece 😁

      You forgot to mention if you had to make special car insurance arrangements to drive around in Europe. Or are you going to cover that if you get into a traffic incident? LOL

      The only thing that puzzles me is why you chose a Ram van instead of, for instance, a Sprinter. I can imagine that service for a Ram might prove to be a bit difficult in Europe. Have a great time in my continent!
