Taking in The Mall, Admiralty Arch, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall and Parliament Square, the Coronation route which King Charles III will travel along on the 6th May 2023 will be familiar to millions of people.
Despite involving all of these famous London landmarks, there are many smaller sites along the route which are far less known… and in this video, I’d like to show you 20 of them!

Just a point of interest – there are quite a few young women in the Household Cavalry these days as well as all those fine "young men" you mention.
Superb Rob one of my favourite parts of London everywhere you turn you have centuries of History to Enjoy 👍
Thanks Rob🇬🇧👍 As a LONDONER I'M AMAZED, at how many points of interest you find that i didn't know??
Here's something I'd like to share🤔🧐King Charlie the first and the centre of London 💪 in the civil war thay removed the statue gave it to a blacksmith to melt down, i belive the blacksmith name was Rivet?? Instead of melting it down, he buried it, and started selling knifs an forcks say they were from the statue, people Royalist and Cromwell's people brought them… When Charles 2nd came back the Blacksmith dug it up and got paid.. a nice story for the Dead Centre 😱☠️🗣️🆘🇬🇧💪💯 LONDON'S LOVIN IT 🤩😍🇬🇧
Edit- Frances Rivett
1596- 1659✌️🙏💯😂
Another excellent video.
At St. Margarets Church, what is on the other side of the "fake window"? Does anyone know? Is it the organ perhaps?
If it is the organ then there may be no point in having a window there but the painted on design makes things more symmetrical.
Just a thought.
Excellent video, thank you! (The black spot on the clock got me. 😢)
Thanks for a very interesting and informative video!
Loved this, thank you
It's looking very tidy and I love the nose should nose around find out the origins of that arched gateway mysterious ❤
Perfect format for your chanel ❤
Hi Rob, This was great video, packed with interesting information. You really surprised me with your fact about the window at St Margaret’s Church, I’ve never noticed that, in all the times I’ve walked by that spot.
Thank you once again for a fascinating episode Rob….I’ve leant a lot about a city I thought I knew well! You put so much effort into the research for every episode, you deserve many more subs! Thanks also for mentioning to respect the men and horses at Horseguards Parade…♥️👍🏻
Thanks!
Hi Rob, Do you know anything about the taxi lamp at the corner of Bridge Street as you drive off Westminster Bridge? I believe it was once used to alert taxi drivers that an MP needed a cab. I don’t think it’s any longer in use, but I love these symbols of a yesteryear London.
Thanks
Thanks Rob. Fascinating as always. You finally enlightened me as I always wondered what THE CITADEL was… here’s to the next one!! Cheers
Usual messages.👍
Thanks

Hi Rob, I’ve just rewatched your video to ensure I remember each last detail. I must say you do have a way of conveying information which makes what you say very easy to assimilate and remember. I’m sure you would have made a great teacher.
