Follow us on our Grand Moroccan Roadtrip!
From sweeping sand dunes to desolate highways of emptiness, bustling cities, and snow-covered peaks, we explored Morocco from north to south and east to west. Driving more than 10,000 km in eight weeks, our roadtrip included many unforgettable adventures. Watch as we explore remote landscapes, climb high peaks, battle breath-taking dust-topias (double pun, yeah!), and navigate the hectic bustle of Moroccoβs major cities.
Thank you:
A big THANK YOU goes to Saloua Dabhi who helped tremendously with pronouncing Moroccan names. Real Talk:
Despite our attempt at keeping our Morocco Travel Documentary as authentic as possible, you are still watching a highlight reel. When editing, we naturally tend to choose the most exciting videos. What you donβt see are the hours spent driving through less spectacular landscapes or some of the unpleasant challenges we faced.
Did we like everything about Morocco?
Far from it. As mentioned in the video, the huge amount of trash definitely dampened our experience. Additionally, we were surprised by the sheer number of begging children. During our trip, we counted a minimum of 500 children asking us for money or sweets. While Morocco undoubtedly has to combat poverty, this behavior often seemed less dictated by need and more by opportunity. Stopping and giving is an individual choice, of course, but when we didnβt we were regularly flipped off, kicked after, or hurled insults at.
In general, though, we perceived most Moroccans as extremely friendly and helpful. The best example is the three local men who selflessly helped us to change our ruptured tire. We cannot thank them enough.
Full Disclosure:
This trip was entirely self-funded. However, we did enjoy a two-night complimentary stay at La Sultana Oualidia and a two-night complimentary stay at La Sultana Marrakech.

North Africa, as a whole, by nature, with its diverse environment and landscapes, is an ideal place for travel and adventure holidays. However, seeing all that pauverty and misery of the locals is a turn off. A beatiful land, ruined by arabism and its peaceful religion.
There you go, you did it again Lucas. Great video once more, thanks for sharing another amazing piece of work. This brings back memories from my trip to Morocco years ago. Thank youπ

MERHBA felmaghreb
I enjoyed every second of this documentary. It's saddening that we Moroccans don't appreciate our environment and continue to litter. Nonetheless, thank you for showcasing the beauty of our country. Sending all my love from Morocco β€
Morocco is such a beautiful country. Iβve been to Spain when I was a college student to visit my Spanish friend. I told him and his friends that I was thinking about visiting Morocco. Then all of them strongly opposed the plan so I had to give up going there. 10 years have passed since then and I regret that I didnβt visit there. Greetings from Tokyo, Japan.

the amazigh/berber culture is underrated and seldom stolen by arab media
GOOD JOB
I visited Morocco in December of 2022 with my daughter and a friend. It was beautiful and the people were wonderful. My only regret was the paucity of beer! It is such a shame that the Koran does not allow beer with otherwise excellent meals.
*To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. *
