Driving from Melbourne to Mt Macedon on Saturday morning, Autumn 2023, Victoria Australia

Mount Macedon is a town 64 kilometres (40 mi) north-west of Melbourne in the Australian state of Victoria. The town is located below the mountain of the same name, which rises to 1,001 metres (3,284 ft) AHD. At the 2016 census, Mount Macedon had a population of 1,335 and is best known for its collection of 19th-century gardens and associated extravagant large homes, which is considered to be one of the most important such collections in Australia.

  2. Thanks for taking us to Mount Macedon (an ancient huge volcanic caldera). Would have like to see 'the Cross' near the parking area. Interestingly, post WW2, an ANA DC3 crash from the south side. The hostess survived and she helped several passengers out of the wreck. Always enjoy your road trips. thanks again.

  3. Idk if this is too much to ask since its alot of time to edit and record.. but i was wondering if u take hume highway like the normal way to melbourne when u did the sydney to Melbourne.. tysm if u can idk if its too much but yeah have a good day
