Well, Little Rock does have a port, and ships travel here from the gulf, so I guess technically we could have a cruise ship dock here.
I don't think it will happen though.

When you drive to the port, remember to figure in the cost of parking. That charge can be $25 per day or more, but it still might be less than the cost of flying etc. for your party.
Great tips!! I love the off-season idea and I constantly check prices to see if I can save money after I'm booked. Cruising out of your home port is also a great idea. I really do love the newer ships, though, and I have saved money by booking a "Bogo." My travel agent looks for those deals.

We returned from the wonders last Sunday. It was pricey but worth it We booked the week kids went back to school.
Yes but the problem with RCCL and some other cruise lines is that if you book early and then decide you need to cancel, your deposit is nonrefundable.
cruising between Thanksgiving and Christmas gives you best price, ship not crowded and bonus…..decorated for Christmas!

Prices gone up is an understatement. I booked an NCL cruise last year for this summer balcony for $2900 and the new fare is $4900 to start!!!!
During hurricane season go to Southern Caribbean: Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire. Those destination are least likely to be affected by hurricanes.
